If you are a painter, photographer, graphic designer, sculptor, performer, or any type of artist not already mentioned, we need YOUR help in bringing to life the words of our SCORES poets.  Please join us for the fourth annual Inspired Art event to be held on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Artwork Network in Denver’s Santa Fe Art District.

Step 1:

Graphic representation of your submitted artwork may be used on the Inspired Art website, program materials, and marketing pieces for the event.  Your piece will also be auctioned at the Inspired Art event.  This agreement grants permission to America SCORES Denver to use your piece in the event, as well as on any promotional materials for Inspired Art.

Step 2:

Chose a poem as your inspiration.

All poems are listed on the Poetry page.  Once you have selected your poem, please notify Roxanne Vogel at rvogel@americascores.org so that we can record your choice to ensure minimal duplication.

Step 3:

Once you have finished your piece, you will need to fill out and submit an artwork description form.  This form will allow you to indicate how you would like to deliver your artwork, as well as a suggested value for your piece. Please make sure all artwork is gallery framed/hang ready.

Artists Benefits:

All artists will receive a 20% commission based on the final auction price of the piece. While this commission can be donated back to the organization, it is in no way expected.

Artists information will be featured online through the Inspired Art website, event invitations and program.

Participating artists will receive one free ticket to the event.

Important Dates to Remember:

December- March 2012-2013: Artist enrollment

February 28, 2013: Artist Agreement due

March 21, 2013: Artwork Description form due

April 4, 2013: Final date for artwork to be dropped off at office. Please make sure all artwork is gallery framed/hang ready.

April 4, 2013: Artist Reception at America SCORES Denver’s office (4900 W. 29th Ave, Denver, CO 80212)

April 11, 2013: Inspired Art event at Artwork Network (878 Santa Fe Dr., Denver, CO 80204)
